To pull or not to pull

During a recent effort to organize the Kala lexicon a few similar words were found.

tsami – pluck; pull off; pull out; unplug
tseka – pull; draw near; tug; tow; yank
mitsa – pull out from sth; remove from; extract
nopa – pull; stretch; draw sth out

As is obvious, there are some points of semantic convergence, but there are also nuanced differences. In any event, it seems as though tsami and mitsa should be combined and one of them erased.

    • Yes and no. I tend to use syllables that are similar for various semantic clues, but in this case I think I may have used the same source twice to create words that were similar in meaning.
